About

The Blue Shoe Project was founded in April of 2004 by father and son team Jeff and Michael Dyson. 

The goal: Provide opportunities for children in our community to experience live music, specifically the Blues. 

It all started with four Mississippi Delta Blues Legends and 186 college students in an auditorium. The programs presented now numbers in the thousands with nearly 500,000 students impacted and provided the opportunity to have an arts education experience.
